No. We only recommend a refrigerant top-up when there is a genuine, measured leak, and even then we locate and patch the leak first. Refrigerant is not consumed over time, so a healthy unit does not need a yearly refill. Do you charge to diagnose an aircond problem? A diagnostic check is RM50 and covers a circuit board, sensor and run-capacitor inspection. That fee is stated up front and waived in full if you go ahead with the recommended repair. Who actually carries out the work on my unit? Every job is handled by one of our certified technicians, led by Aircon Service Pro founder Jacky Wong.
